Laughing Stock 2008
Chardonnay $26.00 – Only 2
cases available
Making
a well-balanced Chardonnay is a challenge that requires a level of judgment and
restraint to fully showcase the fruit characteristics balanced with fullness
and finesse that only French Oak can impart.
We’ve been experimenting with larger format barrels called
puncheons and this year’s vintage demonstrates the advantage of these formats
with moderate yet integrated oak flavours. This year’s vintage has a bit more
acidity that adds fresh, not flabby, to a flavour profile that showcases
pineapple and lemon zest.

Wine Award Winners
Congratulations to Painted Rock, Gray Monk and Desert Hills
on winning this coveted award:
Painted Rock 2007 Red
Icon $54.94
93 Points. “A
blend of 33% Cabernet Franc, 20% Petit Verdot, 16% Merlot, 16% Cabernet
Sauvignon,
15% Malbec. This wine
needs at least 5 more years before you drink it: it's massive and loaded with
potential! A black river of
cassis flows over your palate, but wait: it's really unfair to open this one
early.
Canada's next cult wine?”-Natalie MacLean
“The Red Icon is
one of the very best reds from a BC winery and worth the price”
John Schreiner - Author of “The Wineries of British Columbia”

Daily:
Rigamarole 2009 Sauvignon Blanc $14.99
Our RIGAMAROLE menagerie of juggling monkeys and hiding tigers is chock full of the fanciful and big on
the outlandish, but upon inspection you’ll notice it’s the citrus and grassy notes that matter most to our deliciously crisp and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc! Naturally, our friends do not favour oak, so we haven’t used any! Rigamarole Sauvignon Blanc is lively and zesty when paired grilled seafood and fragrant salads - Greek or Garden! A simple sipper for your garden party!
Rigamarole 2009 Rosé $14.99
Why is it always such a RIGAMAROLE to simply find a great drinking ROSÉ? The puzzling complexity of terroir, oak ageing, vintages and those ridiculous descriptors is just too much. Our RIGAMAROLE Rosé menagerie of (what else?!) pink dolphins and flamingos is chock full of the fanciful and big on the outlandish. What makes them pink? Well, food and physiology actually… but that matters less than the delicious aromatic pink wine that they inspire. A blend of varietals mingle so perfectly in our wonderfully engaging rosé wine. Rigamarole Rosé is perfectly paired with a patio! Sip this on its own or pair with Asian dishes, roasted veggies and grilled fare.
